YVE walks for water

A team from YVE, led by General Manager Alastair Garlick, is putting their best foot forward for WaterAid Australia’s Walk for Water to help people around the world access clean water close to home, in their schools, and at their healthcare facilities.

YVE is a partner of charity WaterAid Australia, which focuses on providing clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene for the world’s poorest and most marginalised people.

WaterAid is working with partners, such as YVE, in some of the toughest places in the world to enable entire communities to unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.

The funds raised through Walk for Water will help people all over the world with access to clean water.

  • 771 million people in the world do not have clean water close to home
  • 1.7 billion people in the world do not have a decent toilet of their own.
