Yellow men point to high-risk areas

We actively encourage speaking up on safety and innovation, in all levels of the business.

My Family, My Safety promotes employees to challenge themselves to always explore better and safer ways of working with the impetus to review existing systems and procedures and increasing efficiencies.

Our commitment to the safety of our employees and protection of our clients’ assets led to the constant presence of the Yellow Men when our teams are working anywhere near overhead or underground power/services.

The Yellow Men point up or down to indicate where services are to remind anyone entering a site that they are operating in a high risk area.

At Winslow’s finals session of our Site Leadership Program, participants heard presentations from Energy Safe Victoria’s Education Officer Rob Oldfield and Before You Dig Australia’s Tom Herter about safety when working around above or below-ground assets. 

Safety never stops at Winslow.
