Mentoring workshop inspires Women of Winslow
Winslow is dedicated to providing learning and leadership opportunities to all staff.
Last week, the first of two workshops for the Women of Winslow mentoring program was held at Marnong Estate.
The workshops have been designed to provide knowledge and skills to support women within the Winslow Group in their role as a mentor.
By coming together, the women have an opportunity to connect as a network and enables them to support each other throughout the program.
The workshop was hosted by Winslow Group General Counsel Amelia Rizzo.
We’d like to thank Laurice Temple and Nicole Jordon from the Ripple Effect who inspired our women to believe in their potential.
Their knowledge and experience were invaluable, and we are so grateful to them for sharing with us.
The topics covered in the first workshop included:
- Creating a safe space
- Values reflection – both of Winslow and personal values
- Understanding your role as a mentor
- Strengths – what are your superpowers & how to help your mentee identify theirs
- Tools to feel good and function effectively
- Learning Loop – a framework for reflection
The feedback from the first workshop was positive, with the second workshop to be held in May.
