Winslow supporting Earth Hour

This weekend, millions of people across Australia and the world will come together to support Earth Hour, the world’s largest environmental movement.

Since its beginnings in 2007, Earth Hour has grown into a global initiative involving over 190 countries and territories. The movement encourages individuals, businesses, and communities to switch off non-essential lighting for one hour as a symbolic act to raise awareness of the impact we all have on the planet and to show our support for climate change action.

This year, Winslow is proud to support Earth Hour on Friday 21st March between 2-3pm.

We’re demonstrating our support for the environment, so please join in by deactivating all base building non-essential lighting and equipment during the hour.
We know this action is symbolic and it will take much more than an hour of turning off our lights to have a measurable impact in climate change, but the action helps to bring greater awareness and demonstrates our commitment to protect the planet – both during and beyond Earth Hour.

Together we have the power to create a brighter future for our planet.
