WI utilities leaders engage with uni students

As part of an initiative by Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV), Winslow Infrastructure was invited to Melbourne University last week to work with students as part of a new initiative to develop ways to reduce utility strikes across the industry.

WI Group Utilities Manager Kevin Toohey, and WI Utilities Manager Jerrod Kelly, spent time with the students to help them understand the role of a utilities team and gave them an overview of the utility permit process and GIS system.

Kevin and Jerrod worked through some ideas with the students and approaches to help improve this industry-wide issue and shared an extensive Q&A discussion on all things utilities and incident management.
