WI team turns on lights in time for Christmas

Winslow Infrastructure’s team working on the Point Cook and Sneydes Roads Upgrade, in Melbourne’s west, delivered an early Christmas present this week to the local community.

The traffic lights at the new intersection were switched on just before 5pm on Wednesday night, delivering this major project milestone a month ahead of its January 2025 schedule for our client – the Department of Transport and Planning – and the local community.

Project Manager Adam Ostrowski said this incredible milestone by the team will make a huge difference to drivers and the community.

“Congratulations to all the team in delivering this important piece of infrastructure for the community,” Adam said.

“Just in time for Christmas and school holidays, the Point Cook community will now be able to use the new traffic lights at the intersection, helping traffic run smoothly and eliminate some of the increasing congestion in the area, creating better traffic flow and a safer journey.”
