WI team goes green for World Environment Day

Yesterday Winslow Infrastructure’s team on the Annandale Road site at Melbourne Airport, commemorated World Environment Day.

Director of Engineering Anthony Strano joined the WI team, General Manager Leonard Bam, Construction Manager Richardson Huynh, Project Manager Jay Patel, Group Environment and Sustainability Manager Dean Lal, Safety and Environmental Manager Chris Zammit, and Office Manager Natalie King, joined representatives from Asia Pacific Airports Melbourne (APAM) and Aurecon to mark the completion of works on the current stage of the project and to plant trees, in celebration of World Environment Day.

“Today’s planting marks our commitment to sustainability and the environment, one tree at a time,” Richardson said.

“This project has been an important first step in building our relationship with APAM. Today is not just about planting a tree – it’s the symbolism of our growing relationship with APAM.

“We are contributing to the future of Melbourne’s airport and we are looking forward to the next stage of work”.
