Safety award for Constructors team

Winslow’s dedication to safety was recognised with an award from developer Mirvac for work on the Olivine Estate in Donnybrook, north of Melbourne.

In a presentation at the Christmas break-up party at Olivine, four Constructors employees Joel Violante (Labourer), Beau Pizzato (Labourer), Ashleigh Olsen (Operator) and Callan Bibby (Pipe Layer) were recgonised for promoting safety in the workplace.

Project Manager Adam Stojanovski praised the recipients.

“Joel endeavours to stay back to ensure all trenches are flagged, and the site is safe and secure at the end of every day,” Adam said.

“Beau is an aspiring leading hand who supervises the labourers to ensure they are conducting works correctly and safely.

“Ashleigh is a Moxy operator who is always on the lookout for any works that may not be conducted safely, and flags any issues he sees to the foreman.

“Callan is constantly reviewing the trenches which have been excavated ready for drainage to be laid and will raise any issues he finds with the foreman immediately.”

Safety never stops at Winslow.
