Rathdowne project wraps up

Congratulations to Winslow Infrastructure’s Rathdowne project team on reaching completion.

The Rathdowne project upgraded the Craigieburn East Road and Jardin Road intersection in Wollert, transforming it into a new and improved signalised intersection. 

The team worked at full tilt to open the intersection on the last day of the working year in 2023.

This milestone was achieved through clear communication to all team members including site operators, labourers and subcontractors of the task at hand and support given by project leaders.

Throughout the duration of the project, the team witnessed what can be achieved under strong leaders and leadership, who utilised challenges to improve existing processes.

This included a revamp of checklists, daily planning, and programming procedures.

This focus on forward planning strengthened communication with the client, subcontractors, and government bodies, resulting in the prevention of further challenges arising.

This learning process made it easier to complete safety audits and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis.

Well done to the whole team on reaching completion, with only minor topsoiling and maintenance to go.
