Queensland team joins peers to mentor Girls in Property

Winslow was proud to participate in and sponsor the Property Council of Australia Queensland’s Girls in Property event in Brisbane last week.

Winslow is passionate about inspiring and supporting women in the construction industry.

The Women of Winslow mentoring program’s mantra is ‘You can’t be what you can’t see’, which aligned with the day where the high school students were split into groups hosted by industry professionals to learn about different careers in property.

The Girls in Property Program is designed to inspire more young women to choose a career in property and during power hour speed networking students got to hear directly about working in the industry from women involved in it, including Winslow Queensland Project Engineer Caitlin Herron.

Construction Manager David Rogers was a judge in the Project Pitch Off who joined a panel of experts to advise students as they designed and pitched a project to the judges.
