Newbridge Estate a true team effort

Newbridge Estate in Wallan has officially wrapped up – and what a journey it’s been.

Starting in 2021 and finishing in 2024, this project was one of Winslow Constructors’ largest in Mitchell Shire, requiring more than 500,000m³ of imported material.

From the outset, the project presented some serious challenges for the Constructors’ North Region team.

The winter of 2021 brought some of the wettest and most difficult conditions the industry had seen in years, leaving the site in swamp-like condition.

Despite this, the team’s resilience, collaboration, and focus on safety kept the project moving forward efficiently and to a high standard.

Working adjacent to existing properties also demanded careful planning and communication, and the team handled it with professionalism and positivity.

Our client, Resimax, summed it up perfectly: “Winslow was the perfect partner who was able to tackle these challenges and deliver for Resimax and UDM.”

“Looking back at our late 2020 tender photos, we certainly had our work cut out for us,” said Construction Manager Ryan Monaghan.

“Through strong project team collaboration, we were able to navigate Wallan’s challenging weather to import a significant volume of material, allowing us to push through the winter of 2021 and beyond.”

Newbridge Estate is a great example of teamwork, planning, and perseverance paying off. A big congratulations to everyone involved.
