New machine a major milestone for YVE

YVE Group has added a 74-tonne beast to its stable of machinery which will enable the business to take on more complex jobs across Victoria.

Operations Manager Lee Whitley was on hand to take delivery of the latest excavator, which will increase YVE’s capabilities.

“Adding the Cat374 (74T) Excavator to the YVE Group fleet is a huge milestone for YVE,” Lee said.

“The capabilities it brings will take YVE to the next level within the sewer industry.

“In the past we have only been able to attack certain jobs which was limited by the size of the excavators we have.”

Lee (pictured above) said it gave him great joy to see the new machine arrive onsite “to see all the hard work by all the YVE employees over the years pay off with such a huge milestone”.

“Six years ago, I would never have dreamed of YVE owning a 74T, but with the support of many people throughout the Winslow Group and YVE we are finally at the stage to say we are now big enough for it to happen.

“A big thank to all involved who helped for this milestone to happen.”
