Native Space nursery to supply projects

Native Space is driven to find sustainable outcomes through innovative solutions.

Rather than buying plants from third parties, or competitors, Native Space is establishing a nursery at Mickleham in Melbourne’s north to supply plants for all the landscaping Business Unit’s projects.

Nursery Manager Jeff Beavis (pictured), who joined the business late last year, said he is enjoying working with the team to create an industry-leading facility to support and enable the continued growth of Native Space.

“I have worked in horticulture for over 45 years doing everything from working in retail nurseries, managing a domestic landscape design and construction business, and growing vegetables,” Jeff said.

“I have spent the best part of the last 10 years operating a revegetation nursery supplying many major projects and revegetation initiatives throughout Victoria, including a number of Winslow jobs.”

The nursery is expected to be operating early next year to start propagation with the first plants ready for projects by Winter.
