Keep yourself hydrated
Working outdoors in summer, and often in heat, can be hazardous and can cause harm if not managed effectively.
One of the common effects of working in heat is the risk of dehydration. Men and women need between two and 2.5 litres of fluids daily to maintain hydration.
The February you will see our Hydration Safety campaign in action with drink bottles distributed to field employees across the Group.
Field employees will also be involved in a toolbox about tips to avoid dehydration.
Our new Am I drinking enough water? posters will also provide some easy markers to keep people on track with adequate hydration with a link to some self-directed learning if people want to find out more.
