Full collaboration on upgrade project

Winslow Group Services’ business units recently collaborated with Winslow Infrastructure on the Point Cook Rd and Central Ave Intersection Upgrade in Melbourne’s west for client ARUP.

The service proving job was part of the Major Road Project Victoria’s (MRPV) reference design for the intersection upgrade.

The scope of works included Utility Locating, Utility Survey, Non-Destructive Digging (NDD), CCTV, Overhead Powerline Scanning and 3D Utility Modelling.

It was a great example of combining the various parts of the Winslow Group to deliver an all-encompassing service to Winslow’s client ARUP. 

Survey Management Solutions (SMS) provided Site Management, Utility Locating, 3D Overhead Cable Scanning, Survey, and Utility Modelling.

Trafman Solutions took charge of Traffic Management, including traffic guidance schemes (TGS), plans (TMPs) and permits, NDD, Saw Cutting, Backfilling, Electrical Overhead Spotters, and CCTV.

YVE Group provided sewer pit inspections and measurements. 

The team collaborated extremely well, both internally and externally, taking on additional scope that the client required and delivering the project in a safe and efficient manner.

Several safety inspections were completed by both the client and MRPV during the works, with positive feedback received on each occasion.
