Ecosphere crushing SA market

Ecosphere’s growth into South Australia coincides with a dramatic increase in construction work, with a significant rise in the number of residential buildings constructed.

Data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics shows that for the June quarter in 2025 total construction work rose by 1.6 per cent to $4.7 billion, which represents an 8.4 per cent increase through the year.

Residential building work rose last quarter by 4.0 per cent to $1.6 billion, which is 19 per cent higher than it was this time last year.

South Australia’s annual residential growth rate is significantly ahead of the next best jurisdiction, Western Australia at 9.5 per cent and is well above the national increase of 5.3 per cent.
