Doughnuts all round for Infrastructure

National Doughnut Day was started in 1938 by the Salvation Army, to honour volunteers who travelled overseas to serve doughnuts to soldiers during World War One.

Many of these volunteers set up service huts located in abandoned buildings near the front lines where they could serve baked goods.

In celebration of National Doughnut Day, Winslow Infrastructure kicked off its 2024 WI Roadshows for staff, with Leonard Bam, Anthony Strano, Dan Maiden and Rohan Davidson updating the team on what’s happening across the business and what’s on the horizon, while enjoying some fresh doughnuts.

Our Port Melbourne team also got their first sneak peek at the newly completed office.

The team at Lathams Road Upgrade project also commemorated National Doughnut Day and combined it with World Environment Day, and devoured a green-iced doughnut feast while hearing from their sustainability team on some of the recycling innovations that have been used on the project.
