Constructors trio smash deadline
By seeking to improve and finding a better way to operate, we challenge ourselves to thrive.
By challenging targets, by doing more with less, and by being innovative, we become more efficient, which underpins Winslow’s operations to be able to achieve ‘lowest cost producer’.
Our Northern Victoria Region Constructors team recently achieved a significant milestone with the completion of a demanding project not only ahead of schedule but under budget.
The Blue Gum Field Estate in Kyabram was set an unprecedented 12-week timeline and was tendered very aggressively.

“Not only did our team meet this challenge head-on, but they also completed the project in an incredible 10-and-a-half weeks – something some key project stakeholders didn’t think was achievable,” said Area Supervisor Shay Keillor-Reed, who added that they were well supported by the project management team.
“Our Foreman, Makram ‘Macca’ Albasha, along with Thomas Woods and Blake Nicholson, operated all the machines required which ensured Blue Gum was a triumph.
“I can honestly say few teams would have been able to do what this team has done.”
Campaspe Shire Council conducted its Practical Completion (PC) walk-through and declared it as “one of the best jobs they have ever seen”.
“A project delivered inside of 12-weeks with no defects,” Shay said. “It’s an unbelievable effort and completely demonstrates the Winslow Way!”
This outcome strengthens Winslow’s reputation for delivering excellence in challenging circumstances.
