Commendation for Julie

Winslow leaders attended the 2023 National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Victoria Awards last Friday night to support Winslow Infrastructure Environmental and Sustainability Manager Julie Buckley.

Julie, whose work on the Sunbury Road Upgrade project saw her nominated as a finalist the ‘Sustainability Award’, which recognises excellence and achievements in sustainable practices in the construction industry.

Although Julie missed out winning the award, she was acknowledged with a commendation.

Julie also recently completed her Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Mentoring training and is now an accredited ISC RISE Mentor.

We are all thrilled for Julie, who has dedicated herself to ensuring the health and safety of the community, while championing environmental and sustainability excellence throughout Winslow.
