Your Story charity winner

Winslow recently asked staff to nominate a charity that is close to your heart and has made a difference to you or your family in the last 18 months, and explain how $20,000 will help that charity in the future.

Thank you to all those who submitted their heartfelt stories.

After careful consideration, Winslow, via the Allenby Foundation, will donate $20,000 to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in honour of Dominic Sinopoli.

The Charity was nominated by Dorian Sinopoli, Project Manager at Winslow Constructors.

Sadly, Dorian’s father, Dominic Sinopoli passed away in November 2022 after battling Leukemia for 10 years. Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre provided critical treatment and care for Dominic throughout this time.

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is a world-leading cancer research, education and treatment centre and Australia’s only public health service solely dedicated to caring for people affected by cancer.

It has 3300 staff, including more than 750 laboratory and clinical researchers, who are all focused on providing better treatments, better care and potential cures for cancer.

The Allenby Foundation was established in 2022 by Dino and Franca Strano as the philanthropic arm of the Winslow Group to help those who need it.
