Spotlight on Saleem Gharib
One example is Saleem Gharib, who joined Winslow as a Graduate Engineer after completing his Civil Engineering studies at RMIT.
Starting on site, Saleem gained firsthand experience in construction processes before moving into his current role as a KPI Engineer. In this position, he monitors project performance, gathering data on material use and costs to help teams work more efficiently.
“Nothing beats hands-on experience to learn fast, and my supervisors were always willing to answer any questions and guide me,” Saleem said.
His role also supports Winslow’s focus on sustainability, with many projects repurposing site materials – such as reusing rocks for road base – to reduce waste and environmental impact.
