Bridge lift signals Creekstone milestone

Winslow Infrastructure achieved a key milestone at Creekstone Estate in Tarneit recently with the completion of Stage 1 of the Doherty’s Road duplication, following the successful bridge beam lift in November.

This achievement was a testament to the commitment to safety and close collaboration across project partners, ensured critical works were delivered efficiently.

The Creekstone project involves duplication and widening of Doherty’s Road from two lanes to four lanes between Morris Road and Derrimut Road, including a new bridge over Skeleton Creek.

Throughout Stage 1, WI navigated challenging ground conditions, including rocks and complex service constraints, which required careful planning, agile management, and ongoing coordination with stakeholders.

With Stage 1 now complete, the focus has shifted to delivering Stage 2 of the bridge and associated roadworks, with a beam lift scheduled for July.

The Creekstone project, for client Macson Developments, involves duplication and widening of 1.2km Doherty’s Road from two lanes to four lanes, including a new bridge over Skeleton Creek.

Doherty’s Road is a West arterial road, located 25km west of the Melbourne CBD.
