Awards for Northern NSW safety stars

Winslow’s Northern NSW team working on the Killarney Park Estate, east of Lismore, held a Men’s Health Month toolbox last Friday.

Topics covered included prostate health, mental health and skin cancer.

The session was also an opportunity to present safety awards to “two very deserving workers”, said HSE Coordinator Bernie Austin.

More than 40 workers attended the toolbox where RCC Hyrdaulics Foreman John Hagney and Labourer Travis Shoesmith recognised with a $100 gift card each.

John was recognised for performing his tasks in a safe manner on a regular basis, and Travis awarded for good role model for other workers and who is also known for doing it right and pushing the safety message.
