Another milestone at Creekstone

Winslow Infrastructure successfully achieved another major milestone on the Creekstone project on the Doherty’s Road Upgrade Project in Tarneit, completing the installation of eight Super-T bridge beams during an overnight possession.

Each beam measured 26m in length and weighed 43 tonnes, making the lift one of the project’s most significant and technically demanding operations.

The installation highlighted the project team’s exceptional planning, coordination, and commitment to safety.

Following the successful completion of Stage 1 and the traffic switch earlier this year, the Stage 2 bridge structure is now taking shape.

With the bridge beams now in place, the project team will progress to bridge deck construction, followed by surrounding civil works throughout July and August.

Approach slabs are scheduled for completion in September, with bridge barriers and finishing works to follow later that month.

The Stage 2 bridge and associated roadworks remain on schedule to open to traffic in mid-October 2026.

Stage 3 works, including construction of the centre median and final roadworks, will commence immediately afterwards, with the entire Creekstone Road Upgrade Project on track for completion before Christmas 2026.

Once complete, it will deliver improved road capacity and connectivity for the growing Tarneit community.
