Minta Farm duplication completed
Winslow Infrastructure’s works on Minta Farm North and South arterial package 3 to remove the existing roundabout and replace it with a signalised intersection at Grices and Soldiers roads in Clyde North began in late 2022.
In early July, the signalled intersection was opened to the public.
Both Grices Road and Soldiers Road were previously single-lane carriageways and have been upgraded to a three-lane intersection.
As part of the works, the team installed 1km of drainage that included 1.8m wide box culverts that connect to the existing 100-year-old Melbourne Water channel.
They also installed 3600m of kerbing and 900m of footpath, and place 12,000 tonne of crushed rock and 5000 tonne of asphalt.
The residents of Berwick and Clyde North are now enjoying their much-needed duplicated road and signalised intersection.
Well done to the team on this fantastic milestone.
