Reeves Plains project powers South Australian growth

Winslow Infrastructure’s presence in South Australia is expanding through its work on the Reeves Plains Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), a 250 MW, four-hour battery energy storage project northwest of Adelaide being delivered for Genus Plus Group.

The $7 million civil works package is under construction with WI’s scope including site clearing, topsoil management, bulk earthworks, cut and fill, formation of BESS platforms, internal access roads, pavements, drainage, stormwater infrastructure and permanent access intersections.

WI has also secured electrical conduit installation and additional auxiliary packages, demonstrating our growing capability beyond traditional civil construction.

Reeves Plains strengthens Winslow’s South Australian pipeline and reflects the growth of our national Energy portfolio.

Recent Energy projects include Carwarp Solar Farm and Fulham Solar Farm in Victoria, and Blind Creek Solar Farm in NSW.

Across these projects, our role has increasingly extended into construction-ready platforms and benches for substations, switching stations and battery infrastructure.

These scopes combine earthworks and pavement construction with concrete structures, conduit supply and installation.

This progress is supported by a specialist Energy team of engineers and supervisors with renewable-sector experience, backed by our established workforce, plant and civil delivery capability.

This positions our business to pursue larger, more complex renewable energy opportunities nationwide.
