Safety first at Wallan Secondary College

Winslow is determined to keep the communities we work in a safe place.

Winslow Infrastructure’s Waston Street Interchange Upgrade project team members, along with the Northern Highway Intersection Upgrade contractor and VIDA Roads, recently visited Wallan Secondary College to speak with students about the importance of safety around road project worksites.

As works continue, engaging directly with the community, especially young people, remains a key priority.

The session focused on helping students understand the real risks present in active work zones, and how their behaviour as pedestrians, cyclists and future drivers can contribute to safer outcomes for everyone.

The collaboration between projects reflects a shared commitment to not only delivering critical infrastructure, but fostering a strong culture of safety within the communities we work and live in.
