Road Safety Week – Drive So Others Survive
This week is National Road Safety Week and this year’s theme is ‘Drive So Others Survive’.
National Road Safety Week (NRSW) is an annual initiative created by the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group and is supported by Governments, Councils, corporates, small businesses, unions, the education sector, road safety organisations and individuals across the country.
Our road safety experts work hard to ensure you get home safe each day for your family.
Whether you’re commuting to work, school or running errands, construction zones are a common part of today’s roadways.
Help keep yourself, workers and other road users safe by following these simple, six life-saving tips.
- Plan ahead. Be patient. Be alert
- Observe signage
- Obey speed limits
- Maintain a safe following distance
- Respect pedestrian paths
- Every driver plays a part in a safe work zone.
Last year, more than 10,000 people pledged to make the roads safer for everyone.
