Full beams away at Creekstone

Winslow Infrastructure’s team working on the new Creekstone project reached a major milestone last week, lifting five massive bridge beams into place — each 43 tonnes and 26m long.

The completed bridge in stage one will span 34m m and measure 12.5m wide.

With the beams now landed, the team will move into deck pouring, followed by surrounding civil works throughout December.

Approach slabs are scheduled for installation in early January, with bridge railing to follow in later that month.

The bridge is on track to open by end of February, with stage two works to follow, which includes demolition of the existing culvert bridge and the remaining 20m wide bridge section.
