Women in Engineering Day
International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) recognises the incredible contributions women engineers are making to the profession and inspires more women and young girls to pursue a career in engineering.
In celebration of INWED some of Winslow Infrastructure’s (WI) female engineers attended the ‘Engineers Australia Symposium: Engineering together’.
The day was filled with keynote speakers, panel discussions and hands-on masterclass workshops.

Giulia Massimini, WI Undergraduate Engineer said that it was an empowering experience to meet so many female engineers and to hear from industry experts about how to succeed and be a leader in your field.
Of the leadership workshop, Sri Nimmala, WI Site Engineer’s key take away was, “that a successful leadership career requires both strong technical expertise and well-developed people skills. Balancing both is key to effective leadership.”
WI celebrates all our female engineers and acknowledges the contribution they make to our business every day. We are proud of their achievements in various roles from undergraduate engineers, graduate engineers, site and project engineers, and senior project engineers, project managers to project directors.
Our Women of Winslow networking initiative also provides opportunities for women to understand career pathways and development through stronger connections with like-minded colleagues.
