Queensland team starts work on Redlands development

Winslow Queensland joined Villawood Properties executives and Redlands MP Rebecca Young this week for the official sod-turning event at Baya — a $250 million development in Southern Redland Bay, offering 224 lots of land.

Winslow is contracted to complete 19ha of clearing and preliminary works for the earthworks. 

“In the coming weeks, the team will commence bulk earthworks, which will involve moving over 140,000m3 of soil, as well as reconstructing the waterway and installing three culverts,” said Project Manager Ben Boutteville.

“A key challenge will be completing the majority of this work ahead of the upcoming seasonal constraints.”

The project will include the construction of civil stages, upgrades to the TMR main road, and improvements to council roads.

These works will support Villawood in delivering a premium-quality residential estate near the coastline, right in the heart of the rapidly growing Redland Bay area.
