Help us choose a charity by sharing your story
Winslow understands the significance of charities in people’s lives and would like the help of Winslow employees in deciding what charity should be further supported, so the charity can continue their great work in the wider community – our wider family.
Family is important to Winslowers, it’s part of who we are as employees and FAMILY is one of our company values.
Sometimes it’s the added support from others that can help make a huge difference to our family, when it matters the most.
Charities bring together people who care about a cause so that they can make a difference. Whatever it is that you care about, there will be a charity working on it. Charities help in lots of different ways, but the main ways are by providing direct help, giving information, undertaking important research, or raising awareness of an issue.
What you need to do:
Tell us in 500 words or less how a charity that is close to your heart has made a difference to you or your family in the last 18 months and explain how you think $20,000.00 will help the charity in the future.
How to tell your story:
Complete the form below and submit your story online by Wednesday April 30th, 2025.
Hint:
Write the story in a word document first and save it as a backup. When you have completed it, simply cut and paste into the online form through the link and submit it.
Terms and Conditions
Only open to full time employees from across the Winslow Group – including Ecosphere, Native Space, Nexpave, Opt Hire, Private Office, SMS, Trafman Solutions, TUS, Winslow and YVE.
Nominated charity must be a registered charity with the ACNC (Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission). www.acnc.gov.au.
The author of the winning story must consent to the story being shared and published both internally to Winslow employees and through Winslow’s external communications channels (e.g. website and Linked In) and the charity’s channels.
Winslow will organise an official cheque handover between the Strano family, and the charity nominated in the winning story on behalf of the author.
The Strano family will review all entries and decide on the nominated charity to receive the $20,000.00, based on the entries submitted.
All money will be allocated to one charity.

The Allenby Foundation was established in 2022 by Dino and Franca Strano as the philanthropic arm of the Winslow Group to help those who need it. Part of Winslow’s fabric is to give back to, and create opportunities for, the communities where we work.
