WI celebrates airport project’s official launch

Winslow Infrastructure (WI) was proud to stand beside Australian Pacific Airports Corporation (Melbourne) (Client), Aurecon (Project designer, Project Manager and Superintendent) and Native Space, the landscaping team to cut the illustrious yellow ribbon – signifying the official launch of the Annandale Road Retarding Basin Project.

WI was engaged by APAM in August 2023 to construct a formal sedimentation basin.

The project involved:

• Bulk earthworks: cut and fill across the entire site
• Decommissioning of existing bioretention
• Construction of new bio-retention amongst pre-existing wetlands
• Drainage: main pipe installation
• Landscaping and planting

This project would not have been possible without the hard work of our project team.

From planning through to delivery, each team member played a crucial role in ensuring that the project was completed on time and to the high standards that Winslow Infrastructure is known for.

The launch of the Annandale Road Retarding Basin is just one of many projects we are proud to be involved in.
