Lights signal milestone at Melton intersection project

Winslow Infrastructure, in partnership with the Department of Transport and Planning has reached a key milestone in the High Street Melton Intersection Upgrade by energising the new set of traffic lights and re-opening the newly re-constructed High Street and Coburns Road intersection.

Not even the early morning downpour could deter our crews from delivering new traffic lights, signalised pedestrian crossings and new dedicated turning lanes to the intersection.

A massive effort was carried out over a nine-hour operation to finalise line marking, test traffic lights and sequence traffic management to re-open the intersection at about 3.30pm.

“Milestones like these, are the culmination of various teams’ efforts. I’m proud of all the work that went into today and look forward to closing this year with all physical works complete,” said Project Manager, Adam Ostrowski.
