Breaking ground at Halcyon Greenhaven

Winslow Constructors’ Medium Density and Retirement Living Business Unit has officially commenced civil works at Stockland Halcyon Greenhaven following last week’s sod-turning ceremony at the Armstrong Creek site in Geelong.

Winslow representatives joined client Stockland, Federal Member for Corangamite Libby Coker MP, project partners and future homeowners to mark the beginning of construction at the 17.2-hectare over-55s lifestyle community.

Winslow is privileged to again work alongside Stockland, continuing our long-standing partnership.

Stage 1 comprises 129 residential lots, two external roadworks packages and two commercial builder sites. Winslow’s scope includes:

• More than 10,000m² of coloured concrete road pavement
• Approximately 3000 tonnes of asphalt across the external roadworks
• Approximately 50,000m³ of fill earthworks
• More than a kilometre of stormwater culverts
• An extension of the existing wetland

Built-form construction is scheduled to commence in mid-2027.

Once complete, Halcyon Greenhaven will provide 345 new homes and a range of lifestyle facilities, including a clubhouse, gym, cinema, café, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a bowling green.

Located just 10km from the Geelong CBD and close to the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast, the community will provide greater housing choice in one of Victoria’s fastest-growing regions.

Winslow looks forward to working with Stockland and our project partners to deliver a quality community for its future residents.
