Careers night for Shepparton’s Indigenous youth

Winslow representatives attended the Annual Ganbina Careers Night in Shepparton last week to discuss opportunities across the Group for Indigenous youths.

Winslow Group Learning and Development Business Partner Caden Harte and Constructors Project Manager Ben Jackson (pictured) met with students from years 10 to 12 about working in the civil construction industry.

Ganbina runs Australia’s most successful Aboriginal school-to-work transition program Jobs4U2, which helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and youth aged from five to 25 years old stay engaged in mainstream education, training, and employment.

Winslow now has an office in Shepparton and has begun working on projects in the region, notably Stage 1 of the Uptown Estate for DM Property Group. 

The project is located in Shepparton’s northern precinct nestled among vast open landscapes and wetlands and just moments away from the city centre.

The Shepparton office is set to manage other regional projects in Kyabram, Cohuna and Swan Hill.
