Next week is National Families Week (May 13-20) celebrating family diversity and connection, and we want to hear about your Winslow family and what makes it special.

Families come in all shapes and sizes and are as diverse as the world around us.

Different families have lots in common with each other’s and many differences as well – every family is unique.

In National Families Week we encourage you to celebrate the diversity within your family, and your work family.

Celebrating family diversity involves recognising and embracing the unique circumstances, backgrounds, and dynamics that make each family special.

And finding opportunities to connect across differences including those in culture, language, gender, sexuality, ability, and age.

Fostering an inclusive family and community environment enables meaningful connections and can promote mutual appreciation and shared learning.

Our work families are also likely to work in separate locations, but we still connect daily with the help of technology.
