Senior leaders tour West Region to emphasise safety

Winslow’s senior managers attended three toolbox meetings in Melbourne’s West Region on Tuesday to reiterate safety compliance on our work sites.

Managing Director Dino Strano, Chief Operating Officer – Construction Rohan Davidson, General Manager – Winslow Constructors Andrew Richardson, Operations Manager Steve Strano and HSE Manager Anthony Sutera spoke to more than 500 employees and sub-contractors about the expectations and requirements while working on site.

Topics covered were inductions and SWMS, Big 5 Safety rules, asset protection plans, spotters, daily prestart meetings, and adhering to Winslow safety procedures at all times.

The key messages delivered were:

• Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
• You see it, you own it, you speak up.
• If you’re not sure, or something doesn’t look right, stop and ask.
