Little Diggers enjoy big machines at Banksia
Winslow Constructors’ Geelong Region team joined developer Stockland at Banksia Estate recently for a “Little Diggers” community event.
It was a chance for members of the local community to bring their child along and get close to Winslow machines.
Stockland provided high vis vests, hard hats and packed lunch boxes for the kids, who all enjoyed the day.
The local CFA was also there to give the kids a tour of the fire truck and to spray the fire hose.
Winslow began working on Banksia two years ago, which is located in Armstrong Creek, south of Geelong.
“We have completed five stages to date – stage 4 was accelerated to be built within four months, essentially two months in front of the contract program,” said Senior Project Manager Callum Randall.

The project includes an intersection on Boundary Rd, with another two stages underway and a further five stages to be constructed over the next 18 months to two years.
The team includes Callum, Roshan Shetty (Project Manager), Jack Wenske (Senior Engineer), Marcus Anyon (Foreman) and Pat Puopolo (Senior Foreman).
