October is National Safe Work Month, which is a time for us to commit to a safe and healthy workplace.

National Safe Work Month 2023 is about ‘for everyone’s safety, work safely’.

Being healthy and safe means being free from physical and psychological harm. A safe and healthy workplace benefits everyone.

At Winslow, good safety underpins our business and our success. Safety has been our highest priority since day one.

It is the heart of what we do every day. We understand the hazards of working in the high-risk industry of construction, which is why safety is both a core value and one of the guiding principles that makes up ‘the Winslow Way’ of working.

My Family, My Safety promotes employees to challenge themselves to always explore better and safer ways of working with the impetus to review existing systems and procedures and increasing efficiencies.

The Big 5 Safety Rules provide us with information on how to operate safety every day at work.

During October, we will be holding toolboxes and safety training, and showcasing our Big 5 Rules and reconfirming our commitment to them in all aspects of our work.

We want everyone to go home every day to their family and friends, and we recognise the people we work with are part of the Winslow family.
