Environmental team lead industry webinar

Earlier this month, Winslow Infrastructure’s Environmental and Sustainability team headed up an Australasian Land & Groundwater Association online webinar. 

Allan Campbell, WI Environmental and Sustainability Manager, James Thomas, WI Environmental and Sustainability Advisor and Hugo Dickinson, WI Environmental and Sustainability Advisor presented on various methods of land and spoil management that WI use. 

Our team gave an overview of the trying and testing technologies and methods, researching, developing and implementing new innovations in this space. 

The presenters discussed WI’s efforts to pursue effective land and spoil management and progress towards a sustainable, closed-loop system within the business, and contribute to state and federal sustainability programs. 

They also shared WI’s approach to contaminated material and groundwater management, recycling of contaminated materials, spoil management within project site and between WI sites and insights from our land remediation and landfill projects. 

There was great interaction from those in attendance online, with questions and comments received many consultants and contractor representatives. 

This was a fantastic opportunity for our team to represent our strong commitment to the environment and sustainability and showcase some of the incredible innovations and insights being rolled out across the WI business.
