Family culture cheers Avondale to premiership glory
The Winslow family was out in force at Olympic Village to support the Avondale Football Club at the NPLM Grand Final on September 10.
The Avengers were crowned Premiers in the National Premier League with a 4-0 win over South Melbourne.
The Avengers, coached by Constructors Foreman Zoran Markovski, lost only one game all season in a stellar season that also saw them claim the Champions title.
Captain Ayden Brice, a Junior Foreman who works under Zoran on the Aspire Fraser Rise estate in Plumpton, was named best on ground for his defensive work.
A large contingent of Winslowers were on the sidelines cheering the team, which also includes Labourer Kristian Trajceski (midfielder).

Zoran said the support certainly helped the team with Avengers supporters “the loudest there”.
“Winslow is a family company, and so is Avondale, and to have everyone on board gave the boys a massive lift,” Zoran said.
“Being at the company for 18 years and to see so many Winslow hoodies on the sideline … it was massive.
“Labourers, managers, senior foremen … they were all there.
“It’s all about culture – Winslow culture and Avondale culture – it’s the best in Australia.”
